The Guided Setup Option is built for teams that know what they want from a microwave link but do not want to work through every frequency plan, tower load calculation, and path survey on their own. It is a structured way to get a new transmission point running without handing over the whole project.

What makes this option different is the boundary it draws. You keep control over site access, power supply, and the final acceptance test. We handle the parts that usually stall a rollout: link budget analysis, antenna alignment planning, interference checks against existing spectrum use, and the documentation your network team needs before they touch the equipment.

The practical decisions come early. Before any hardware is scheduled, we agree on the link distance, the frequency band, and the required availability target. These three numbers shape everything else. A short urban hop with 99.99 percent availability needs a different antenna size and path margin than a longer rural link where 99.9 percent is acceptable. The setup plan is written around those constraints, not around a generic checklist.

During the on-site phase, our engineers work alongside your technicians. They verify line-of-sight, confirm tower mounting points, and run the initial alignment using the spectrum analyzer. Your team leaves with the measured results and a clear record of what was adjusted and why. That record matters later, when the link needs maintenance or a neighboring tower changes the radio environment.

The Guided Setup Option does not include ongoing monitoring or scheduled maintenance. It ends with a handover document that lists the final configuration, the test results, and the recommended inspection interval. If you want the link watched after that, the Ongoing Support Package is the natural next step. But for a team that prefers to run its own operations, this option gives them a clean starting point with the hard part already done.
